Board of Review
Board of Review members are appointed by City Council pursuant to City Charter, Section 11.7. 
There are three (3) members.  All terms are for two (2) years. 
Meetings are held during the months of March, July and December.

Cable Commission
Cable Communication Commission Members are appointed by City Council pursuant to the Cable Commission Ordinance.

Qualifications:  Members serving on the Cable Commission must subscribe to Cable TV.

Established by Resolution 88-596, November 7, 1988.

Terms are for three (3) years following the initial staggered terms.  There are five (5) members and two (2) alternates.  Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Romulus City Hall Council Chambers.

Construction Board of Appeals
Members are appointed by City Council pursuant to Section 125.88, Michigan Compiled Laws, Act 207, P.A. of 1921.  Section 5.  There are five (5) members and two alternates.  All terms for members are three (3) years.  Alternates shall serve two (2) and three (3) years respectively.  Meetings are held on an as needed basis.

Historical Commission
The Commission shall consist of seven (7) members, four (4) of which shall be appointed by the Mayor and approved by City Council and three (3) members to be selected by the Romulus Historical Society and approved by City Council and shall remain an entity separate from the Romulus Historical Society pursuant to Resolution 85-645, adopted December 9, 1985.  (Should the Historical Society fail to provide the required number of members, the Mayor shall fill all vacancies as necessary).

The members of the Commission shall serve as such without compensation.
There are seven (7) members.  All terms are for two (2) years.
Meetings are held the first Monday of every other (even) month at 7:00 p.m., in the Romulus City Hall Mayor’s Conference Room.

Historical Society
The Historical Society consists of five (5) officers which shall be elected by the dues paying members in January of each year.  Membership is open to the public.

The Historical Society meets on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm in the Romulus Historical Museum, 11120 Hunt, Romulus, Michigan  48174.

Planning Commission

Police, Fire & Safety Commission
Members of the Commission are appointed by the Mayor and approved by City Council pursuant to the Romulus City Charter, Chapter 2, Div. 5, Section 2-247.

There are seven (7) members.  All terms are for three (3) years and staggered.

Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.

Recreation Commission
Commission members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council pursuant to Ordinance, Chapter 22, Article II, Section 22-32, Resolution No. 74-165, 2-13-74.

There are nine (9) members.  All terms are for three (3) years (Amendment to Chapter 22, Article II, Section 22-32, Resolution 89-101, 2-27-89).

Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at the Recreation Department at 35865 Northline.
