Mayor Alan R. Lambert has named Robert Dickerson the new Chief of Police in the City of Romulus.

Dickerson, who served 25 years as a member of the Wayne County Sheriff's Department, was sworn in Monday.  He succeeds Chief Michael St. Andre, who submitted his resignation last week due to illnesses in his family.
