Romulus Response Development Team

The City of Romulus recognizes the importance a business places on certainty. We also understand that no two projects are the same. We value the importance of completing a project on time and on budget. To that end, the City has pledged to work with the business to bring certainty and "speed to market" to the development process.

The Economic Development Department will provide you one point of contact. Whether it is retention, expansion, or attraction, we are committed to streamlining and simplifying the permitting process.

Integral to Economic Development's commitment to certainty and speed to market is our Romulus Development Response Team. When appropriate, we will quickly assemble our team, which includes:

  • Mayor
  • Mayor Pro-Tem
  • Chief of Staff
  • Economic Development Director
  • Planning Director
  • Public Services Director
  • Public Safety Director
  • Planning Commission Chair
  • Zoning Board of Appeals Chairman

The team will then craft a development plan appropriate for the project.

We can:

  • Expedite the review and development processes
  • Assist with permits and required approvals from other Agencies
  • Assist with incentive opportunities
  • Exceed expectations
