Overview
The opioid epidemic is affecting the entire country and Romulus is not immune. The Romulus Police Department provides the public its opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Help us keep these drugs out of our landfills, our sewers, and especially out of the hands of our children.
The public is welcome and encouraged to drop off all unused/unwanted pills in the drop box located in the lobby of the Romulus Police Department located at 11165 Olive Street, the lobby is open 24 hours a day. This service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
Requirements
The following criteria must be met:
- Only pills will be accepted
- No needles, liquids, powders, ointments, or inhalers
