Charter Committee


The Committee meets on an as-needed basis.


There are nine members, all of whom are Romulus residents. Members of the Commission are appointed by the Mayor and approved by City Council pursuant to Chapter XVIII, Section 17.6 of the Romulus City Charter and re-established by Resolution Number 11-367.

The purpose of the Charter Committee is to regularly review the City of Romulus Charter, and draft/submit revisions for consideration to the voters.
