Downtown Scarecrow Contest

Overview

Our Downtown Scarecrow Contest began in 2015 and continues to grow every year! Residents, organizations, businesses, and anyone interested are able to enter a scarecrow to be placed in the downtown corridor during the month of October.

Scarecrows will be displayed in the Downtown Romulus district from October 3rd through November 4th. Participants must pre-register as space is limited. Registration may be done in person at Romulus City Hall during regular business hours or submitted via email to Community Services.
